LG Puricare Filter Replacement: The Honest Guide (2026)

Which product is our top pick in this guide?
Our top pick is the NUTRONIX RO Filter Service Kit, a sediment, carbon and RO membrane set listed for the LG PuriCare WW130NP, WW140NP, WW150NP, WW140NPR, WW151NP, WW151NPR and WW152NP. If your purifier is a WW160EP, WW163EP, WW170EP, WW180EP or one of the listed WAW models, check the Aquadyne kit for that family instead.
India’s BIS drinking-water standard, IS 10500, sets the acceptable limit for total dissolved solids (TDS) at 500 mg/L — relaxed to 2000 mg/L only where no better source exists — with an acceptable pH range of 6.5–8.5; a purifier’s job is to bring your source water within these limits. Editor's read
The useful fact on these listings is the model list, not the brand name in the title: the same 'for LG PuriCare' wording covers two different model families, and the kits here are each listed for only one of them. Read your purifier's model number, match it to the kit's list, and remember these are third-party parts — Aquadyne says so in its own listings.

Editor's take
Our top pick is the NUTRONIX RO Filter Service Kit for the LG PuriCare WW130NP, WW140NP and WW150NP-family models, with sediment, carbon and RO membrane stages in one kit. Check your model number first: if it is a WW160EP-family or WAW model, the second Aquadyne kit is the match.

How we picked these filter replacements
Every pick on this page is matched to its exact Amazon India listing, and the specifications, warranty terms and features on each card come from that listing; a brand's own claims are attributed to the brand. We don't physically test the products in our guides, and we don't link to Amazon search results. Prices shown come from Amazon's data with the time they were fetched; the price at checkout can differ.
Our editorial process is one person — Bikram, based in Pune. The order of products on this page reflects our editorial ranking only. No brand paid for a place in this ranking. Each ranked pick earns us money only through its Amazon affiliate link — clicking through earns a small commission, your price stays identical.
Standards & sources
- BIS IS 10500 — Drinking Water Specification (opens in new tab) — India's drinking-water quality limits are defined by BIS standard IS 10500 — a purifier's job is to bring your source water within these limits.
- Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) — product registration (opens in new tab) — Many electronic goods sold in India require BIS registration for safety; you can look up a product's BIS registration on the BIS portal.
Buying filter replacements in India — what to check
- Warranty:check that the listing states an Indian warranty and what it covers. Imported (grey-market) units may not be serviced by the brand's Indian service centres.
- Delivery and returns: Amazon shows the delivery date for your pincode and the return policy on each product page. Check both before ordering, especially if it is a gift or needed by a date.
- Keep the invoice: some brands ask you to register the product after purchase. Keep the Amazon invoice and read the warranty card that comes in the box.
What to Look For
- 1.Find your model number first. The kits here list exact LG PuriCare models: one set covers WW130NP, WW140NP, WW150NP, WW140NPR, WW151NP, WW151NPR and WW152NP; the other covers WW160EP, WW163EP, WW170EP, WW180EP and five WAW models (WAW33RW2RP, WAW35RW2RP, WAW32RW2RP, WAW53JW2RP, WAW73JW2RP).
- 2.Genuine vs third-party: every kit here is third-party, and Aquadyne states its kits are not made or endorsed by LG. For LG's own cartridges, contact LG service.
- 3.Check what is in the box: NUTRONIX lists sediment, carbon and RO membrane stages; Aquadyne's WW130NP-family kit combines sediment and carbon in one filter and adds a mineral cartridge, pipe and flow restrictor; its WW160EP-family kit has separate sediment, carbon and mineral cartridges.
- 4.Fitting: Aquadyne says its WW160EP-family kit uses push-fit connections that you can fit without a technician, and NUTRONIX describes standard-size inline cartridges for quick replacement.
- 5.Warranty: both Aquadyne kits cover manufacturing defects only, not cartridge depletion; the NUTRONIX listing does not state a warranty.
- 6.Pre-filter: if your installation has an external 9-inch pre-filter housing, the yarn-wound cartridge here is listed for replacement about every 3 months, depending on water quality.

EMI and No-Cost EMI options depend on the product, the seller and your card. Amazon lists the options available for your payment method on the product page and at checkout.
Can I return filter replacements on Amazon if they don't work as expected?
Return and replacement terms are set per product and seller on Amazon.in. Check the return policy shown on the product page before you order, and keep the invoice for any warranty claim.
