Bikram Nath

I'm Bikram Nath. I founded and edit PakkaPick, an independent buying-guide site built specifically for Indian shoppers. Every recommendation here is researched by one person — me — against the conditions Indian buyers actually live with: 220V supply and voltage swings, hard water in much of the country, monsoon humidity, extreme summer heat, and smaller flat sizes than the Western default.

What I focus on

Beyond product picks, I build original-data tools that answer the questions Indian buyers actually ask before spending — especially the running cost of an appliance, not just its sticker price:

• Cost of running appliances in India — real yearly electricity cost by appliance, from BEE label data.
• Appliance running cost by state — the same, priced against each state's electricity tariff.
• India e-commerce statistics 2026 — sourced data on the Indian online-shopping market.
• Our methodology — exactly how products are researched and ranked.

Editorial independence

PakkaPick is funded mainly by the Amazon Associates programme — when you buy through a link, I earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. I never accept payment to rank a product. The occasional sponsorship is labelled as paid on the page and sits outside the ranking. The order of products reflects editorial ranking only.
